    Details of the Itinerary

    Day 1 Entry Beijing

    great wall tour china Welcome to Beijing! You will be met by your Guide and transferred to your Four Star Best Western Hotel Beijing. This evening you will have a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant.

    Day 2 Beijing

    Today you will be given a full day of sightseeing, including Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world: Forbidden City, Ming and Qing Dynasties, Imperial Palace, and the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors pray for a good harvest. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.

    Day 3 Beijing

    Breakfast at your hotel. Board your motor coach for a half day Hutong tour, where you will have a chance to have a glimpse of peoples daily life, including nearby Beihai Park where you will have lunch. This afternoon is reserved for a joint concert performance with Beijing High School N. 166, in a local concert hall. Following the concert, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with the Chinese students. Dinner at a local restaurant.

    Day 4 Beijing

    Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will be given a full day tour to one of the Ming Dynasty Emperors Tomb, and the Great Wall of China, the largest defense system in ancient times. This evening you will return to Beijing for a Peking Duck Dinner.

    Day 5 Beijing

    Breakfast at your hotel. More tours await you today, including the Summer Palace, the Beijing Zoo (including Pandas) and the Confucius and lama Temples. Lunch and dinner included.

    shanghai Day 6 Beijing/Shanghai

    Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the Beijing Airport for your two hour flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai you will be met by your guide and transferred to the Galaxy Hotel or similar. After lunch, you will be given a city tour, including the Jade Buddha Temple, the Childrens Palace and the Bund. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants are included.

    Day 7 Shanghai

    Breakfast at your hotel. This morning you will visit the Shanghai Museum, and the You Garden in the old town, including lunch. This afternoon you will visit the Shanghai Xingzhi Art School and give a concert at the school following the visit. You will have a chance to mingle with the students afterwards. Dinner at a local restaurant.

    Day 8 Shanghai/Suzhou

    Breakfast at your hotel. Following breakfast you will have an excursion to Suzhou, the "City of Gardens", where you will visit the gardens and the Silk factory. Lunch in Suzhou and dinner at your hotel.

    Day 9 Depart Shanghai

    Breakfast at your hotel. This morning you will bid farewell to your Chinese hosts for the drive to the airport and your return flight to your country
