• Huangguoshu Waterfall
  • The Huangguoshu Waterfall is located on the Baishui River, falling within the boundaries of Zheng-ning County,Huangguoshu Waterfall 137 km from the Guizhou Province capital, Guiyang. The Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Asia. The Huangguoshu waterfall stands seventy-four meters (243 feet) high and eighty-one meters (266 feet) wide, it is one of the best natural scenic marvels a human can hope to see.

    Huangguoshu Waterfall is the only one waterfall that tourists can appreciate from any directions in the world. It’s also the only one waterfall that tourists can hear, look and touch inside and outside the cave. The famous traveler Xuxiake in Ming Dynasty had inspected it and then recorded all the things he noticed. So he was the first person in the world to describe the Huangguoshu Waterfall concretely. Maybe due to the reason, the descendants wanted to honor him, and then they carved a statue of him placed near the waterfall.
